 Buchanan Visual Communications uses an online upload center or Data Asset Management System to receive client files. Some preparation will be required before a successful upload can be performed. Listed below are basic instructions for both Mac and Windows users. If you need additional assistance, you may wish to use the Step-By-Step Procedures to prepare your files for uploading.
Basic Instructions for Uploading Files:
1. Combine all supporting files and folders into a single project folder
2. Encode or compress the single project folder with either WinZip or StuffIt Deluxe, a Ben-Hex (.hqx) format is recommended
If you do not have either of the listed products to encode or compress your project folder, use the following links StuffIt Deluxe for Macintosh or WinZip or StuffIt Deluxe for Windows to download trial versions to complete your upload.
3. When you are ready, click on the provided link to be directed to our Online Upload Center and follow the online directions. www.online.buchananvisual.com (Upload times may vary based on folder size and your Internet speed.)
4. Once at the main page, click CONTINUE (located at the bottom center.) A login pop-up window will appear, enter " buchanan" for both the User name and Password
5. A new window appears, click on Browse. The new window that is displayed may or may not have other files on it, just click on the Upload Files button.
6. The Uploading files window will appear, simply click on Browse. Now, navigate to the compressed project folder you wish to upload. After you have selected the project folder, its name will appear in the File to upload field. Simply click on the Upload button. When the project folder's name disappears from the File to upload field and a new line of text appears above it stating "Uploaded (and the name of the project folders), you have successfuly completed the upload process.
