Unfortunately, printing is often throught of as the last step in the development process. And what a leap of faith it can be if you wait until the end to consult your printer, only to find out what you need, created and then spent thousands of dollars developing can't be produced and used in the manner you envisioned.

We understand that even the most inspired concepts, with the most dynamic images and the most captivatingly written prose sometimes fail as printied pieces. To achieve their ultimate potentail, they must be combined with sound creative and technical support in order to achieve the intended results. The paper selection, screen options, combination of inks and their lay-down sequence, the proper coating and finishing techniques all play a part in making your project the best it can be. We have committed ourselves and our resources to educating and guiding our clients through the creation and execution of a product that exceeds all expectations.

Known as the Double Diamond because of the tower coaters located before and after the sheet-reversing unit, Buchanan’s 40-inch perfector incorporates an interdeck ultraviolet (UV) curing system and a whole lot more.

“The ability to print six colors and coat both sides of the sheet at one time gives us a definite advantage in the marketplace,” says David Johnson, president. “We can up-sell existing accounts on value-added services, such as spot UV coatings, UV inks or hybrid UV inks. The majority of jobs we print entail press checks by our customers, and being able to cut that time in half with a two-sided press check helps save clients money.”
